It seems early in the year to be talking about Christmas, doesn’t it? Well, it’s not if you’re familiar with Operation Christmas Child. Many long-term care facilities around the world pack shoeboxes for this wonderful program.
Recently, I’ve noticed a significant increase in the number of clicks on blog posts I’ve written about Operation Christmas Child in the past. This tells me that people are already thinking about and planning for this year’s shoebox project.
Last year, I wrote a series of articles between July and November where I scoured ads from popular stores every week, and I let my readers know about the best deals for gifts to place in their shoeboxes. While this project was a lot of fun, it also took up an enormous amount of time.
After careful consideration, I’ve decided not to do the “best deals” posts this year. However, I want to share the links to these previous posts that I know you’ll find helpful as you plan your shoebox projects for 2018:

What suggestions would you add? If you have experience with packing shoeboxes, I would love to see your advice in the comment section!
