This annual event at The Wesley Community in Saratoga Springs, New York, provides tons of fun for all generations. Grandparents Day includes face painting, mini-golf and other games, a magician, and balloon art. Photo With A DeLorean
A few years ago, an employee at Maplewood Nursing Home in Westmoreland, New Hampshire, helped plan a special event to raise money for Parkinson’s disease research. She was able to procure a visit from one of the original DeLorean cars featured in the filming of “Back to the Future” films. For a monetary donation, attendees had their picture taken with the famous vehicle.

Every year during the winter months, Marion Hall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania hosts a weekly soup sale. Orders are placed in advanced, and soups are sold by the quart. Three delicious soups are featured each week. For example, one week’s menu includes chicken tortilla, chili, and broccoli cheese soups.
